The 7^th Azerbaijan International Environmental Exhibition Caspian Ecology 2016 began its work at Baku Expo Center On November 16. This exhibition is the only significant event for ecology and environmental protection in the Caspian and Caucasus regions that is supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Public Association IDEA (International dialogue in the name of environmental protection). The event is being organised by Caspian Event Organisers, CEO.

In this year the exhibition is participate by 61 companies from 14 countries including Azerbaijan, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, and others. The exhibition is also attended by government agencies such as the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and also “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping” Closed Joint-Stock Company, OJSC “Temiz Sheher” (“Clean City”). Among the local participants of the Caspian Ecology: Azertexnolayn LLC, BP, EKOL Engineering Services CJSC, Polymart LLC, SOCAR, SOCAR Polymer, SOCAR – CNG, and others. For the first time companies Arkon Flow Systems (Czech Republic), Blucast JSC (Lithuania), Dikkan (Turkey), Lamor ECO (Turkey- Israel-Finland) are taking part in the Caspian Ecology Exhibition. Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan, which presents joint environmental projects in the country, is taking part in the exhibition for the first time.

Caspian Ecology exhibition demonstrates developments in the field of efficient use of natural resources, the system for the collection and disposal of solid waste, systems for sewage and rainwater treatment, micro-tunnelling, measuring and control technologies for water analysis, attracting people's attention to environmental issues and their resolution. Debutants presents equipment for waste and recycling, water purification systems, pipes, pumping systems, and more.

Lipetsk Pipe Company “Svobodny Sokol” was hold a seminar entitled: “Ductile Iron Pipes - Reliability, Durability and Ecological Safety” at the exhibition. This workshop was devoted to the problem of clean water conservation, ensuring the quality of drinking water, and reducing loss of this valuable resource.

Media representatives are actively involved in the exhibition, interviewing the exhibitors about innovations in the ecology field.

Thus, the international Caspian Ecology exhibition helps to expand business contacts, exchange experience, enhance familiarity with new equipment and trends in the industry and gives an additional impetus to the current work being done towards improving the environment.
